I still can’t believe I was at this concert when I was six years old. And still even crazier is that I MET Justin after the concert. I still have the concert ticket he autographed for me that night!

My two favorite bands will always be The Beatles and The Moody Blues.. No need to compare… But what an injustice that the Moodies are still not inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame ~

    I am curious about …
I am curious about the banter regarding the Moodies and the Beatles. Let’s just give each band their due. The Beatles undoubtedly altered the course of rock. But the Moodies as well as their peers such as Zep, The Kinks and The Who all influenced the course of rock as well. In fact, the Moodies, Pinder in particular, turned the Beatles on to the use of the Mellotron (Strawberry Fields for example).

    I was fortunate to …
I was fortunate to get to see Justin’s solo performance at the Supper Club in Manhattan. I have to say, the New York crowd was much more lively and on top of that, we knew all the lyrics and sang with him a good portion of the time. And we sounded good too. Too bad that particular night was not recorded.

    check the …
check the songwriting credits on most of the Moody Blues biggest hits. Except for “I’m Just a Singer in a rock and roll Band”, Hayward wrote all the rest.
