I don’t believe that you need to see every movie to comment about it. Some you can just see certain things in the trailer. Like Slumdog. I will never believe that that movie deserved that award last year. I believe that it was a sympathy award. I don’t care how good the story was. That is what I tell everyone who asks me.

I agree, he has a style that he sticks to. But I always remind myself that the people in our society is who the film makers are entertaining. So if people want to see Cloony and his style rather than his acting, then that shows that not every movie requires acting. And Jeff bridges has been around for years, but has never held the celeb status that Cloony has. Therefore, i stand by my opinion. And The Big Lebowski which everyone seems to love, was a mediocre film in my opinion.

Jeff is a good actor, but thats the problem, he just doesn’t have the right stuff to make the character real enough. Cloony and such a style that people just can’t help but notice and enjoy him.

Poor poor Jeff Bridges. They gave him a sympathy award. and all because he hadn’t won anything sense the 70s. Other wise there is no way that he would have beaten Cloony. He has nothing on Cloony. It proves that if you know who to pay off, or you know what strings to pull, then you can get anything you want.
