What do you give an actor after a theater performance?

What is an appropriate small gift to give to an actor? Similar to bringing a flower to a dancer after her performance.
My friend is male. He’s playing Scrooge in my local community theatre.

We actors love flowers too! A small box of chocolates or a small teddy (for a woman) is good too, but flowers are the biggie.
