Im hosting a movie audition here in about 3 weeks and I was wondering what I can do to get as many actors to audition as possible? Any tips?
you need to advertise the audition, advertise on the internet facbook, myspace, youtube, and on here, youll get lots of interest on here because people look for auditions, i would love to audition depending where it is =] then put posters up, in high schools, in local theatres or if you know where local theatre groups are held put some posters up there two, maybe outside some shops and stuff too. ofcourse youll have to have things on the poster like who you require to audition for example male aged 20-25 and maybe if you want a specific height or hair colour or accent too, also youll have to put your details if they need to contact you like a phone number or an email address, or if its just an open audition just put the time and location of the audition, and on the poster put in huuge letters ‘ OPEN ACTING AUDTIONS FOR SHORT FILM’ or whatever you want to put, it should grab some attention. hope this helps, please let me know about details because i wouldnt mind auditioning if this is ok ill type my email up here after youve said its ok x
